Jumping into the League

New clubs are always welcome to join us for play in the NDAL 50×70 Fast & Fun League.  These courses are designed to encourage dogs to work at best speed; which challenges the handler’s canny timing for even modest technical challenges.

The 50×70 Fast & Fun league currently has the largest participation in the NDAL with 200 or more dogs playing each month.

About the Team Competition

League teams are comprised of the top five scoring dogs from each franchise club. Individual and team scores are derived from Lifetime Performance Points (LPP), which represents the number of dogs earning a lesser score in the competition.

Numbered courses are typically scored Time, Plus Faults. Almost everything is 5 faults (missed contacts, dropped bar, wrong course, weave pole fault and so forth). A failure to perform earns 20 faults. This is a system that ensures granularity of performance and an equitable comparison of those performances.
